With more exhibitors this year, more than a hundred designers presented their new works here. The venue design was based on sustainable concept and incorporated recycled material to reduce waste.<\/h6><p>\u00a0<\/p><h6>Connecting with the world and promoting traditions are other key subjects for TWDW\u201908. Japanese graphic designer Saihei Makinami, Taiwanese graphic designer Ken-Tsai, Lee, and lacquer master Lee-Shu, Huang were all invited to give a talk and interact with design lovers at Taiwan Designers\u2019 Week\u201908.<\/h6><p>\u00a0<\/p><h6>\u8207\u570b\u969b\u63a5\u8ecc\u548c\u63a8\u5ee3\u50b3\u7d71\u4ea6\u662f\u53f0\u7063\u8a2d\u8a08\u5e2b\u9031\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u8ab2\u984c\u3002\u65e5\u672c\u5305\u88dd\u8a2d\u8a08\u5e2b\u5377\u6ce2\u5bb0\u5e73\u3001\u65c5\u7f8e\u5e73\u9762\u8a2d\u8a08\u5e2b\u674e\u6839\u5728\u3001\u53f0\u7063\u6f06\u85dd\u5927\u5e2b\u9ec3\u9e97\u6dd1\u90fd\u61c9\u9080\u849e\u81e8\uff0c\u65bc\u5c55\u671f\u9593\u8209\u8fa6\u5ea7\u8ac7\u6703\u7b49\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u8207\u8a2d\u8a08\u540c\u597d\u4e92\u52d5\uff0c\u4e26\u62c9\u8fd1\u53f0\u7063\u8a2d\u8a08\u8207\u570b\u969b\u821e\u53f0\u7684\u8ddd\u96e2\u3002<\/h6><p>\u00a0<\/p><h6>\u201cTaiwan Design Week\u201908\u201d organized 6 programs including \u201cTheme Zone\u201d, which contains 10 curated exhibition; \u201cDesign Market\u201d a weekend market full of design goodness, \u201cLet\u2019s Talk Design\u201d contained 3 talks shared by 3 designers; \u201cOpen House\u201d, 8 studios opened their door to make friends with the public; \u201cBuy Design\u201d an online pop-up shop collaborated with Seven-Eleven; \u201cGo Design\u201d, selected design spots covering Taipei, Taichung and Tainan. With more than 200 designers participated and exhibited more than 300 original works, Taiwan Design Week\u201908 has attracted more than 30000 visitors.
